We as parents measure our success by the outcome that we see in the lives of our children. We want them to embrace faith in Christ and live His life. But let us not overlook the fact that the result does not completely define our parenting success. It is not defined by whether our children turn to faith or stray from the path we have shown them. The real definition of success is based on our obedience as parents in faith.

Raising children in a godly manner requires us to live out our faith with enthusiasm and commitment in front of them. However, even in the most devout families, some children might not accept Jesus as Lord. On the other hand, children from difficult backgrounds can be transformed by the active power of God's grace. Good parenting cannot be judged by whether children are saved or not, as salvation is the Lord's domain.

Proverbs 22:6 is often used as a promise of the child's future lifetime devotion to faith: "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it." But it is very necessary to understand that Proverbs are not particular promises but generalities. Although child-raising one way often has the same results, it does not ensure salvation for every child. Our children's stubbornness may suggest areas where we can reconsider and change, but we cannot be sure of their walk with the Lord. We must pray for their conversion, live before them a living Christian life, teach them with the gospel, and tell them of our highest hope for their walk with God.

We should not let external influences such as television, radio, or peer relationships shape our children's lives, nor should we neglect our responsibility by relying solely on the church to educate them. Our children are entrusted to us by God, and while the task at hand may seem daunting, it is not complicated. It is straightforward but demands true dedication and adherence to established principles.

Recommit to biblical parenting. Pray genuinely for your children, addressing them in new manners. Together with this, we can anticipate a revival in our homes, the creation of a cleaner church, and God's blessings flowing out like never before. Remember, dear parents, that you are eligible because God has chosen you for this noble task. Do it with your complete heart and attempt to do it well with all your strength. Your success as a parent is less indicated by your children's choices but by your submission to God's call to raise them. Let us do the extra step, believing that when we are diligent in our callings, God will be working in our lives and the lives of our children to work out His divine plans through us.
